The ACK Natural Nantucket Cannabis Facility is an innovative, pre-engineered metal building designed to house every aspect of their business from seed to sale on the Island. It serves as a co-located cannabis cultivation, lab, processing, testing, and dispensary facility that acts as a self-sustaining space capable of handling all operations on site to comply with the strict federal and state regulations prohibiting the transport of cannabis between the Island and the mainland. The facility is located on Nantucket, which has strict regulations surrounding the transport of cannabis products from mainland MA to the island. To meet these regulations, it was necessary to design a facility that could handle all aspects of the cannabis seed to sale process on-site.

Our team designed the building’s exterior to seamlessly blend in with the surrounding architectural styles and heights, while also adhering to the strict requirements of the Historic District Commission. The end result is a visually appealing building that harmoniously integrates into the local community. The project’s success lies in its ability to combine functionality, efficiency, and aesthetic design all under one roof.
